AMRO Welcomes Romanian Minister of Economy

On Thursday, April 24th, H.E. Bogdan-Gruia Ivan, Romania’s Minister of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism, joined the American Romanian Business Council (AMRO) and the American Central European Business Association (ACEBA) for a roundtable discussion during his official visit to Washington, D.C.

The event brought together executives from the American business community to discuss Romania’s accelerating digital transformation, strategic economic priorities, and expanding opportunities for U.S.–Romanian commercial collaboration.

Minister Ivan underscored Romania’s role as a rising regional leader in innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship, while highlighting the importance of transatlantic partnerships in advancing sustainable growth, investment, and digital connectivity.

This roundtable reaffirmed the shared commitment of both countries to deepening economic ties, fostering innovation-driven cooperation, and strengthening the broader U.S.–Europe alliance in today’s evolving global landscape.
